"we're a tribute to the cure - we're called a florist"

us: "hmm...twenty years and we decided to wait until last night to learn that one"

them: "play something we can't dance to!"
"they fookin' messed that one"(isolation)
"it was alright...but you're not new order"

him: "they're even as sloppy as us !"

highlight: the whole weekend was great. with the brilliant audience reaction being the most rewarding of all our gig experiences so far.

notes: billed (as above) as 'the UK's no.1 new order tribute band', a sensational promotion from being 'one of the ten best new order tributes in north london' - premiership status confirmed, thank you manchester! first stage invasion proper. debut for love vigilantes. two encores: the expected one and the unexpected decades. in fact, so unexpected on only it's second outing that ian didn't have time to put a shirt on as the song was started while he was in the dressing room getting changed. recorded by the legendary ATR dat box.
ian: "Me and Jane thought we'd get up to Manchester nice and early until the hire van broke down on the M1... which was nice. Second time i'd been to the Witchwood the first being Hooky's birthday bash in 1992 where Revenge played a cracking set with Broken Promises, Ceremony, Sunrise and Dreams never end as an encore."
