notes: another frank gig. sandwiched between digital and ikon - a goth band from australia. although our soundcheck actually took place after both bands and lasted less than a full song in length. after being told to get there for 3.30 ikon used up all our alloted time despite not have drums or keyboards and having most of their material on minidisc. their soundcheck was actually twice as long as their set and meant that neither support band had the opportunity to get levels for synths or guitars. a good job we picked an early set. 'we wear black on the outside because black is how we feel on the inside'. a vague attempt at a chronological set - following digital's tribute to joy division. debuts for an unready 'procession', an unbridled 'leave me alone' and an unkempt, underdressed sunrise.
