"we're called 'black pig' - this is seaman staines, on drums we have warren the cabin boy, on keyboard -master bates and I am pugwash"

him1: "fuck off! ...just fuck off!"
him2: "if you play blue monday I'll bottle ye"
them: "I can't believe you didn't play blue monday, you're looking at angryofashton.com"
them: "why didn't you play blue monday? is it because you can't?"

we've learned our lesson now - from henceforth we will always play it ... sometimes twice.

highlight: monty's forward rolls [?!?], the witty banter - them: "you're shit" us: "piss off", musical contributions from more than one punter but most notably nick's 'rat-a-ta's

notes: how pissed were the hardcore! alex ran a sweep on what our first song would be - somehow we got convinced into parting with £2 each in order to have someone guess on our behalf, thanks to greg for sorting out the house lights - it takes a professional..., alex: "I like the shorts, very NYC 1983" (actually they were 'highbury 1998'. historically inaccurate AND potential riot provoking - fortunately all the locals were mostly too pissed to notice).

we recognise the irony of the musical metaphor - captain pugwash = the vikings / re:order = new order
