"we're a tribute to the films of michael caine - let me introduce the band: ian on bass, warren - drums, I'm will and camp paul you all know"
us: "this is from new order's first album...it's about a nasty bee swarm...somebody has their jacket nicked..."
us: "this is a joy division number. is anyone going to see the new film about them?" [polite murmur] "one person!? that was worth making then. apparently, there was no part for michael. shame."
highlights: another full house! and a big house it was too. 370plus saw us on possibly our best form yet.
notes: another set loaded with international classics. but still room for the re:turn of some typically idiosyncratic choices - met with a modicum of bewilderment by the smiths fanciers. notable for the comedy moment of the melodica malfunction on hurt [it broke apart directly before the "no more mistakes..." line]. taking into consideration the luxuries of the venue; the attendance; the presence of a travelling hardcore; the good company and the ever-improving presentation making this one of the band's most enjoyable and successful gigs.....until the next one.
the gig was recorded on DV - some out-of-focus footage now available.

"First time I'd seen re : order and they're great. Nice to hear all those songs that we'll never hear from the real thing again. Bass was particularly impressive in places."
