highlights: a number of daft moves and idiosyncratic moments - all slick, slapdash and slapstick.
musically : here to stay, egg and sunrise were stand-out moments, largely due to audience reaction and involvement, but (arguably) the best received part of the evening was the guest spot from jim of digital on love vigilantes. seat of the pants stuff and all the better for it...
notes: our most re:laxed gig for a long while. re:order in their element - shambolic, enthused and definitely playing to their audience. a setlist full of requests and individual nods of recognition and appreciation. the extended set duration meant bonus material was able to be thrown in : jim stepping up for the improvised love vigilantes, the request spot unsurprisingly voted in an unrehearsed sunrise - fortunately, there were plenty of the london order on hand to fill in the missing lyrical moments. also, the good will of the massed order could be spunked up the wall with the ill-advised inclusion of fine time. song number 51 was appropriately hacienda-ish. having waited in the wings for two years, this debut was still about three rehearsals too early - but by then nobody gave a
