blue monday
in a lonely place
chosen time
dreams never end
we all stand
leave me alone
age of consent

everything's gone green
true faith
love will tear us apart
us: "this is our brass section - if the jamm (with two m's) can do it, so can we"
us: "worth waiting for?
us: "you'll notice I completely forgot the lines that go - you get these words wrong... I think that's called irony"
us: "this one's a faster one for you bollockbrains" (getting the gist yet?)
us: "you shouldn't swear because there's several gay blokes here who'll rip your arse up"
us: "we've only come back on because these walls don't have a door and we can't get off" (and because the set wasn't quite long enough)
us: "when I was a very young boy - vinnie jones played with me...."
highlights: our guest announcer simon informing the audience of a badly parked scooter (SMG643Y). the hospitality of the afc wimbledon family was great - having our own dressing room was a very nice touch.
notes: thankfully the significance of the idiosyncratic set choice wasn't lost on the kingston locals - a number of whom had actually attended the original gig in 1983. the oft despised 'we all stand' made its debut for the purposes of fidelity and sat in quite nicely, sounding groovy - if not well rehearsed.
