notes: approached with a little trepidation on our part. being met with a band's vandalised car in the car park followed shortly by murmurs of "homersexuals..." as the band entered the pub, perhaps led to a feeling that there was a point to prove.
...and beers to be drunk.
musically, we acquited ourselves admirably with an urgent and surprisingly competent set. fears regarding the venue were unfounded - the audience was great, and as well as videos of 'carry on camping' accompanying our performance, the venue had lifesize statues of an indian and a motorcycle cop. obviously, they were just waiting for the other 4 members of the village people to turn up....
and we duly did.
