us: "we're re:order, you're the audience - and tonight we're going to party like it's 1989"

"thanks for coming to see us. if you could leave in dribs and drabs afterward rather than in one go, then the smyths won't be upset that you only came to see us"

"we'd like to sack mr sequencer but we can't, because it's his band"

[of course we should have said: "here's one for all you smyths fans picking your noses and wearing black on the outside because black is how you feel on the inside"]

highlight: the boos from the audience as 'every little counts' started

notes: another of those idiosyncratic re:order set choices. this time we decided to re:plicate the setlist from reading89 verbatim. to the bemusement of most of the smyths fans in st albans. what's the opposite of seamless...?
it was a seamed performance.
the bass broke down
the sequencers stopped mid-song... three times
the last time didn't matter because it was an instrumental of finetime and we weren't even on stage by that point
but the other two did
[lwtua was a concession to the punters by way of apology for losing some of the material to tech issues]

in the meantime: debuts for 'every little counts' and 'all the way'
